DivX: A History of Desk Pranks

Here at DivX, we take two things very seriously: digital entertainment and desk pranks.

We recently celebrated our tenth year as a company, which prompted us to pull out the ol’ photo albums. A decade is a long time, and I’d like to think that deserves a bit of sentimentality; a quick trip down memory lane. I am referring, of course, to our history of messing with co-workers’ desks.

Check out some of our favorites over the years after the break:

The Inflatable Desk

The Home Away From Home

The Fortress

Other memorable desk pranks include:

  • The stuffed animal zoo (pictured at the top of this post)
  • Re-arranged keyboard keys
  • Everything wrapped in aluminum foil
  • Little desk
  • Missing desk replaced with car seat
  • Pyramid of junk
  • Invasion of the birds
  • Swapped desks
  • Bubble wrapped desk
  • So many more…
